Selency relies on honest and transparent reviews to help sellers optimize their businesses and let future buyers know what to expect. Buyers can use reviews to share public comments about the product they ordered.

Who can leave a review and when?

Buyers are asked to leave a review once their order has been delivered. Reminders are sent and prompts to leave a review are displayed at various points throughout the user journey: the home page, messaging, and the “My Purchases” section.

Buyers can give a rating out of 5 and write a review. Suggestions for reviews are offered based on the rating given.

If the buyer does not leave a review after one month and if they agree, an automatic 5-star review is published to reward the seller for a smooth sale. This automatic review is clearly identifiable by users thanks to the mention “Automatic review.”

Where can I view reviews?

Log in to your Selency account and go to your store. You will be able to view all the reviews you have received.

Displaying reviews

Reviews appear on both the product pages and the seller's store. They appear in chronological order by default, with the most recent appearing first.

Responding to a comment

It is not possible to respond to a comment. If you find a comment offensive or disproportionate, please let us know. Contact our support team by email at 💌 help@selency.com or by phone at 📞 +44 20 3923 1040 (open from 2pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday).

Review moderation

Reviews are checked by our algorithm to reject any content that is explicit, discriminatory, harmful, fraudulent, illegal, or abusive.

In addition, comments must be impartial and contain relevant information that reflects the buyer's actual experience. If a review is deemed to violate these rules, it may be manually rejected by Selency.
